Volunteer T.E.A.R. Youth Leader

Victim Services Toronto recruits youth leaders from neighbourhoods across the City of Toronto.  As a Youth Leader you will be provided with training in leadership skills, domestic violence dynamics and public speaking.  You will be redesigning the T.E.A.R. presentation to be youth inspired and driven.  Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to co-present with a professional and encourage your peers to end the cycle of violence through community based initiatives.

 

Do You?
  • Want to make a difference
  • Co-present T.E.A.R.
  • Create new videos, music, spoken word, art and graphics for the presentation
  • Redesign T.E.A.R. to be youth inspired and driven
  • Be a leader in your community and complete leadership training
  • Have 2 hours per week from September 2012 – June 2013 to commit to Project T.E.A.R.

  • Creative, dedicated and enthusiastic
  • Between the ages of 15 – 18 years old
  • Looking for community volunteer hours
